This position will lead the overall operations of the Learning Center with the Director of Academic Support. The Assistant Director will oversee the hiring, recruiting, training, evaluation, and visioning for The Learning Center. The Assistant Director supervises desk workers and helps cultivate an atmosphere of hospitality and organization at the front desk. This position will also teach sections of the tutor training course. The Director of Military Engagement will increase enrollment and retention of active duty military and veterans through unique services and support, making IWU the best place for military students to get a Christian online degree. This role will monitor, report on, and develop strategies to support and increase military student retention, graduation rate, enrollment, satisfaction, and belonging for IWU National & Global military aligned students. This includes developing and lead the successful implementation of a rolling 1, 3, and 5 year plan for student success for military students while also developing strong partnerships with university enrollment, chaplains, academic advisors, new student coaches, financial aid, and career advancement teams to increase military student enrollment, retention, and graduation rates. This role will be responsible for developing partnerships with military-related organizations to help increase student enrollment, retention, and career placement of our military students. This position will also support compliance with the Department of Defense Veterans Affairs agencies to support enrollment and financial aid efforts. This role is expected to demonstrate a Christian worldview and uphold the University's Christ-centered mission in interactions with students, faculty, and staff.

Coordinator of International Student Advising Administrative (Full Time) Remote
The Coordinator of International Student Advising is a critical position within the advising team within the International (F1) Student Program (ISP) division. The coordinator will oversee and provide exceptional student care, advising, and support to the ISP (F1) students after initial enrollment through graduation and post-graduation activities for ISP students (i.e., OPT and the OPT-STEM extensions). They will assist in developing ongoing advising policies and procedures with the entire ISP advising team. This position helps address the overall ISP student experience to guide the students in degree completion and post-completion options. In addition, the position will manage registration changes for ISP students to manage their student schedules. This position will also assist the Graduation team with unique issues with the ISP student population. This position will ensure that the F1 students receive high-level customer service and problem-resolution to their unique challenges. The position will strive to balance advocating for the students, reinforcing the university’s standards, and maintaining SEVP guidelines. This position will help to establish an online international community climate that reflects the values and practices of IWU’s National and Global mission of learning, loving, praying, and sharing.
First-Year Academic Advisor Administrative (Full Time) Marion, IN
The First-Year Academic Advisor serves as a dedicated team member of the Academic Advising team within Registration & Academic Services.  This position facilitates a smooth transition for new students into the IWU-Marion community to assist in student thriving.  Advisors help each student as they transition into the institution with previous college credit, creating a first-year course schedule, and navigating academic questions in partnership with faculty.  Advisors will support first-year by developing a relationship, answering questions, and navigating unique situations using a culturally responsive and strengths-based approach.  Using positive psychology and an appreciative approach, advisors will help students develop a growth mindset, utilize their strengths, grow in their feelings of competency and autonomy, and create important, meaningful connections to the institution.  The Academic Advisor will serve to offer support as students navigate their college experience to help set them up to thrive at IWU-Marion.

This position represents our nontraditional (adult) programs and initiatives to external organizations and individuals with the aim of developing enrollment pipelines. The position is assigned to a vertical (e.g., healthcare, corporate, community colleges, etc.) and region with the expectation of extensive travel, in-person engagement, partnership development, and enrollment-related responsibilities. Further, this role coordinates partnership development activities with academic leaders, with the intent to align academic programs and initiatives with enrollment pipelines.
