Admissions Counselor - Transfer Specialist Administrative, Full-Time Marion
The admissions counselor – transfer specialist position promotes the University and its programs to prospective students and their communities. The admissions counselor – transfer specialist manages a caseload of students that is comprised of transfers, readmits, and transition students for all terms of enrollment, as well as all degree-seeking applicants to IWU-Marion for the spring term. The admissions counselor – transfer specialist’s role is to assist students through the admissions process, as well as to assist in onboarding, matriculation, and transition of prospective students successfully into University programs and community. This goal is accomplished through strong case management, extensive communication and engagement with students and their communities, travel and outreach, and hosting visitors on campus.
Enrollment Counselor Administrative, Full-Time Marion
The Enrollment Counselor has primary responsibility to recruit, and enroll students and to assist with initial retention of students for assigned degree programs or certifications. As the primary representative of IWU to prospective students seeking to obtain a degree in one of the aforementioned areas, the person filling this position must have excellent specific knowledge of the degree programs and a superior general understanding of the target audiences for which the programs are designed. Working in consultation with the Associate Director of Enrollment, this person assists in developing and modifying plans to recruit, enroll, and retain students for these programs.
Director of Sports Information Administrative, Full-Time Marion
Will serve as the primary sports contact for 13-18 Wildcat Athletic Teams. Oversee and develop one graduate assistant. Recruit, oversee, and develop 10-20 student workers, and 2-3 student assistants who help with social media, the scorer’s table, stats, announcing, broadcasting, photography, graphic design, athletic department history maintenance and videography. Manage and direct all game operations related to media requests, press box and scorer’s table. Coordinate all media responsibilities for the IWU Athletics, athletic-related and special events – press releases, press conferences, social media, statistics, game notes, and game programs.
Floor Crew Full-Time, Hourly Marion
The Floor Care Technician will inspect, direct, and coordinate the completion of floor care cleaning processes of all floor surface care on campus. This includes but is not limited to the cleaning of carpets, stripping and finishing of hard surface floors and all task functions associated with floor care. The Floor Care Technician will provide quality control, scheduling and implementation of floor care reporting designated and specified by the Director of Housekeeping. The Floor Care Technician will have the accountability of maintaining the chemical supplies necessary for campus floor care needs.
