Assistant Athletic Trainer Administrative (Full Time) Marion, IN
Primary responsibilities of the Assistant Athletic Trainer include providing athletic training services as determined by the Head Athletic Trainer, and assisting with the day-to-day operation, coordination, supervision, and evaluation of the athletic training program as it relates to athletic injury management and intercollegiate / club athletics medical coverage. Indiana Wesleyan University is a NAIA institution that sponsors 22 intercollegiate athletic teams with approximately 550 student athletes. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will also serve as a Clinical Preceptor for the Athletic Training Program. This is a full-time, 10-month position starting on August 1 of each calendar year and ending on May 30 or the conclusion of team’s spring competitive season, whichever is later.

Assistant Director of The Learning Center Administrative (Full Time) Marion, IN
This position will lead the overall operations of the Learning Center with the Director of Academic Support. The Assistant Director will oversee the hiring, recruiting, training, evaluation, and visioning for The Learning Center. The Assistant Director supervises desk workers and helps cultivate an atmosphere of hospitality and organization at the front desk. This position will also teach sections of the tutor training course. The Assistant Director will assist in developing and implementing preventative and responsive programs in the TLC to promote student success for IWU students.

The Director of Military Engagement will increase enrollment and retention of active duty military and veterans through unique services and support, making IWU the best place for military students to get a Christian online degree. This role will monitor, report on, and develop strategies to support and increase military student retention, graduation rate, enrollment, satisfaction, and belonging for IWU National & Global military aligned students. This includes developing and lead the successful implementation of a rolling 1, 3, and 5 year plan for student success for military students while also developing strong partnerships with university enrollment, chaplains, academic advisors, new student coaches, financial aid, and career advancement teams to increase military student enrollment, retention, and graduation rates. This role will be responsible for developing partnerships with military-related organizations to help increase student enrollment, retention, and career placement of our military students. This position will also support compliance with the Department of Defense Veterans Affairs agencies to support enrollment and financial aid efforts. This role is expected to demonstrate a Christian worldview and uphold the University's Christ-centered mission in interactions with students, faculty, and staff.
First-Year Academic Advisor Administrative (Full Time) Marion, IN
The First-Year Academic Advisor serves as a dedicated team member of the Academic Advising team within Registration & Academic Services.  This position facilitates a smooth transition for new students into the IWU-Marion community to assist in student thriving.  Advisors help each student as they transition into the institution with previous college credit, creating a first-year course schedule, and navigating academic questions in partnership with faculty.  Advisors will support first-year by developing a relationship, answering questions, and navigating unique situations using a culturally responsive and strengths-based approach.  Using positive psychology and an appreciative approach, advisors will help students develop a growth mindset, utilize their strengths, grow in their feelings of competency and autonomy, and create important, meaningful connections to the institution.  The Academic Advisor will serve to offer support as students navigate their college experience to help set them up to thrive at IWU-Marion.
Partnership Executive Administrative (Full Time) Remote
This position represents our nontraditional (adult) programs and initiatives to external organizations and individuals with the aim of developing enrollment pipelines. The position is assigned to a vertical (e.g., healthcare, corporate, community colleges, etc.) and region with the expectation of extensive travel, in-person engagement, partnership development, and enrollment-related responsibilities. Further, this role coordinates partnership development activities with academic leaders, with the intent to align academic programs and initiatives with enrollment pipelines.

JROTC Flight Academic initiative: The position will ensure the proper supervision, transportation, and logistical support for Air Force JROTC cadets – mostly high school rising seniors and newly graduated high school students – who will reside on the Marion, IN campus and complete flight training at the Marion Airport. The individual must be available full-time throughout the duration of the Flight Academy (May 30 – July 28, 2024). Additionally, the individual must be available for training calls (2-3 hours maximum) prior to the training. It is expected that flight training and residential activities will operate six (6) days per week with Sundays and major holidays off. The Program Director position will load balance the schedule with a program assistant.
