Job Title: Student Engagement Coordinator

Campus Location: This position can be held at any of the IWU education centers or campuses (Indiana, Kentucky, or Ohio).
Summary of Position: The Student Engagement Coordinator serves a multi-faceted role in overseeing and streamlining student engagement activities and non-engagement student withdrawals. This position acts as a liaison across various functions, using detail-oriented administrative skills and innovative technology solutions to foster excellent student services. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities as the division's security officer.
Duties and Responsibilities
Proactive Student Engagement Support
Develop proactive strategies to identify student needs and coordinate activities, programs, and workshops to enhance engagement
Facilitate interdepartmental collaborations to optimize student experiences
Non-Engagement Withdrawals
Oversee the monthly non-engagement withdrawal process
Implement a tracking system to identify and monitor students at risk of non-engagement
Understand and master Student Information System (Colleague) processes and key policies related to online student engagement
Manage Student Engagement Communications
Oversee student engagement inbox, responding to students with speed and care
Coordinate communication to other departments and serve as a case manager for engagement-related student concerns
Administrative Oversight
Manage schedules, data, and records pertinent to student engagement
Act as the go-to person for all departmental administrative matters, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Technology Utilization
Evaluate existing processes and recommend solutions for automation and simplification
Propose systems and processes to best integrate student engagement processes into Salesforce Student Success Hub
Implement technology-enabled systems that support both the student engagement and withdrawal processes
Cross-Functional Support
Facilitate communication across various departments to ensure seamless service delivery to students
Represent the Student Engagement Department in inter-departmental meetings
Division's Security Officer
Oversee Colleague access permissions for division of Learner Success & Regional Ventures

Education
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
Three to five (3-5) years experience in education, student services, administrative support, or a similar role preferred
Required Skills
Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in MS Office
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Proven experience with technology tools and platforms used for process automation
Strength in customer support and process management
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive approach to problem solving
