Summary of Position: This position is for individuals wanting to work for Athletic Event Technology Services in all capacities other than specific leadership positions. Most of the work is tied to specific studio, field, and sports productions. There are opportunities in all areas of pre-production, production, and post-production. This position is for individuals who will not maintain a regular schedule, but be called in to help as needed, many times with short notice.
Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and tear down equipment used in multicamera video production, including (but not limited to), cameras, tripods, cables, camera support structures, television set structures
Operate cameras, audio consoles, replay units, and all other positions related to live event production
Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education
Able to learn the operation of broadcast cameras and associated video equipment
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
Able to learn proper techniques in single camera shooting and video editing
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 30 pounds
Any previous Video Production experience is a plus
Experience
Live multi camera video production
Required Skills
Standing for long periods (2 hours+)
Lifting (30 pounds minimum)
Video and audio signal paths
Studio style camera operation
