Resident Directors are integral members of the Residence Life team and the Student Development division of Indiana Wesleyan University, providing leadership, oversight, and vision for students within an assigned residential area. The Resident Director position is a full-time, 10 month, live-in professional position that reports directly to an Assistant Director and the Director of Residence Life. Resident Directors are responsible for creating and fostering a residential community in which all students can experience belonging, support, and challenge. Resident Directors partner in the holistic educational mission of the university by strategically planning for students’ personal, spiritual, social, and academic development through a wide range of formational and community activities and programming. Resident Directors provide a high level of student care, mentoring, and intervention that few others on campus can match. This is a special position that has a significant influence on the culture of our campus and on individual students’ lived experience.
Graduate Assistant of Student Involvement Administrative (Part Time) Marion, IN
This position will work with the Director of Student Involvement and the Coordinator of Co-Curricular Experience. This role will assist in various different areas within Student Involvement including Commuter Students, management of The Hub, opportunities to be involved with multiple student groups, and assisting with media communications. This position shares the responsibility of coordinating the IWU visit program with the members of the Campus Visit Team. In this capacity, this position assists with prospecting and recruitment opportunities. This position manages and orchestrates all aspects of the University Campus Visit Program, specializing in organizing University Visit Days. This position also assists with Custom Visits, Group Visits, hospitality for all admissions guests, and hiring and training of the Admissions Ambassadors student workers. Executive Director of Intercultural & Global Office Administrative (Full Time) Marion, IN
The Executive Director of the Intercultural and Global Office (IGO) provides ongoing leadership and support for students of the IWU-Marion campus. Through collaboration with institutional leadership, staff, and faculty, the role advances the continuous development of a culturally responsive, Christ-centered learning community. The Executive Director leads support efforts for Kingdom diversity for all students, plus those of international origin, and of third culture backgrounds. Assistant Track & Field Coach (Full-Time) Administrative (Full Time) Marion, IN
The Assistant Track & Field Coach must be committed to the Lordship of Christ. This not only means having the correct intellectual belief, but it involves a radical transformation in every area of one’s lifestyle. The Coach must continually seek opportunities to grow and possess strong character traits through the regular practicing of the spiritual disciplines (e.g. prayer, meditation, Bible reading) and develop ministry values that express what God can do in impacting student athletes with whom they interact. The primary role of the Assistant Track & Field Coach will be to spearhead the recruiting efforts within the Track & Field and Cross Country programs. This individual will need to be relational and have a desire to connect and build relationships with high school coaches in Indiana and surrounding states. They will also need to be able to develop a recruiting plan aimed at accomplishing our team’s recruiting goals. Additionally, this individual will need to have a Track & Field background and willingness to contribute in coaching one of our event areas (preferably sprints, hurdles, or jumps).
