Summary of Position: The purpose of this position is to develop the use of technology within Student Account Services in order to support efficiency and effectiveness throughout the office.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and/or develop Access and Excel reports due to changing needs within the office or university processes
- Create and maintain job aids to serve as the basis for position manuals
- Daily responsibility for reports that support the Account Specialists
- Office liaison with IT, utilize the online ticket system, and conduct system testing as instructed
- Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of section billing, table billing, and tuition cost sheets
- Coordinate with representatives from each role within the department to assess areas in which systems or technology can improve the work
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot systems needed to support the roles of cashier, account specialist, collections, class starts, corporate billing, and the unique needs of the F1 population
- Research systems/software which may serve Student Account Services, learn its use, and train the office in the use of these products
- Maintain knowledge of billing processes in order to assist with high volume periods
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
Experience
- Knowledge of report-writing and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
Required Skills
- Attention to accuracy, both in writing and numbers
- Excellent interpersonal skills relating effectively with staff, students, and other departments
- Ability to quickly adapt to unfamiliar computer applications and implement to their full potential
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
