Job Title: School Effectiveness Analyst
Reporting Relationship: Assistant Director of Accreditation and Assessment
Unit: National & Global
Department: School of Integrated Learning & Development (SILD)

Summary of Position: The Analyst will work collaboratively with the Dean of the School of Integrated Learning and Development (SILD), the Dean of the School of Teacher Education (STE), and the Office of Academic Assessment & Evaluation (OAAE) with all data and reporting needs for both the Education Preparation Provider (EPP) and the Division. The Analyst will possess an analytical mind with problem-solving skills, be teachable, and willing to learn SQL, Power BI, and other assessment and evaluation software. The analyst will organize and manage data collection and reporting and provide administrative support using institutional databases, dashboards, various Learning Management Systems, and an electronic assessment data repository (e.g., Student Learning & Licensure™ by Watermark). The Analyst will manage the data repository (e.g., Student Learning & Licensure™ by Watermark) and other school-based databases or information warehouses.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage EPP adopted electronic assessment data repository, Student Learning & Licensure™ by Watermark
import user and course data files
manage user access
liaison with Watermark support
provide training and technical support for faculty, staff, and student users as needed
support course starts by connecting Student Learning & Licensure™ to the learning management system
rubric and activity building and standard linking
Manage and support the collection, organization, reporting, or display of school/division and EPP data in compliance with the established EPP Assessment System, institutional program review, Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), and Specialized Program Association (SPA) requirements, including, but not limited to:
Annual surveys
Validity and reliability studies
Outcome Alignment Templates (OATS)
Completer database
Clinical experience diversity data
Program recruitment plans
Advisory Board operations
Manage the Candidate Improvement Plan (CIP) process by working with staff, faculty, and partners to monitor plans and document candidate progress
Perform reporting, data entry, and inspection tasks as required by the EPP's Quality Assurance System

Education
Bachelor's Degree required
Master's Degree preferred
Experience
Experience with databases, data collection, and data analysis preferred
Previous PreK-12 education or higher education experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
Required Skills
Work with basic information technologies (such as email, Word, PDF documents, databases, Excel, etc.) required
Understanding of or willingness to learn SQL, Power BI, and related assessment and evaluation software
Excellent interpersonal skills for relating effectively with students, faculty, staff, and program partners
Ability to conceptualize assessment and program evaluation plans
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
