Summary of Position: This position supports the financial and operational functions of Indiana Wesleyan University specializing in budget management, institutional aid management and operations support. The individual must be curious, a self-starter, problem solver, detail oriented, responsible, resourceful, analytical and ready to learn and grow.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Run financial reports and analyses
- Process and revise data queries
- Manage the budgets of institutional financial aid awards and scholarships
- Collaborate with numerous departments on campus to award scholarships
- Build and maintain a scholarship awarding system
- Package departmental scholarships and institutional endowments
- Execute over-award corrections as needed
- Support various administrative projects related to the operations of IWU-Marion including food service events, student events and communication pieces
- Provide support to the Finance and Operations office team

Education
- A bachelor’s degree in a complementary subject, preferred

- Financial experience, preferred

- Organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with data manipulation and queries, desired.
