Summary of Position: The Public Relations Specialist plays a key role in communicating Indiana Wesleyan University’s news and brand identity through high-quality, timely content. This position strategically shares news and feature stories to increase external brand awareness, strengthen internal morale, and support student enrollment. Blending public relations, social media, and written communication, the Public Relations Specialist helps shape IWU’s voice across multiple platforms. Through compelling storytelling, this role engages IWU’s audiences via news releases, blogs, university magazines, email journeys, video scripts, and marketing campaigns. The specialist develops strategic content and fosters relationships to amplify IWU’s brand, mission, and enrollment goals. This role supports the Marketing Department’s Communications Team by executing communication strategies and ensuring a consistent voice across all mediums.
