Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to the Associate Dean of Nurse Practitioner Programs within the Division of Nursing.

Summary of Position: This Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Site Visitor position will provide essential support to the Division of Master's Nursing, School of Integrated Health, Family Nurse Practitioner Program by evaluating students and preceptors within clinical settings
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct faculty site visits to FNP students as assigned (with option to accept or decline visit request).
Observe and evaluate student performance in a clinical setting.
Consult with the preceptor regarding students’ progress.
Assess the suitability of the preceptor and clinical environment.
Submit all evaluations to the course facilitator and the Division of Nursing.
Complete a Faculty Evaluation form for the student.
Complete a Faculty Evaluation form of the Preceptor’s effectiveness and Clinical Site appropriateness. - (Essential)

Education
Master of Science in Nursing
Current Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
Experience
Minimum seven years’ work experience in the relevant business industry preferred
Teaching experience preferred (Not required)

Strong organization and word processing skills.
Professional handling of confidential information.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with students, faculty, and preceptors.
Excellent written, oral, and problem-solving skills.
Capacity to represent Indiana Wesleyan University, Division of Nursing, professionally.
