Job Title: Healthcare Compliance Support Specialist

Reporting Relationship: Administrative Assistant/Office Manager

Campus Location: Ott Hall of Sciences & Nursing

Summary of Position:    The Program Support Specialist - Compliance will monitor and maintain student practicum/compliance documentation for the Divisions of Post-licensure and Masters Nursing in specified programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate documentation in a database to ensure ongoing data collection to develop reports
    • Program startup communication and documentation
    • Practicum paperwork communication and tracking
    • Evaluations: email communication, collect, summarize, and store
    • Maintaining compliance reports with state and other regulatory requirements
  • Oversee students’ compliance: background checks/drug screens/health requirements through a third-party system
  • Communicate with program leaders regarding identified issues related to compliance 
  • Respond to faculty and student emails/phone calls
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Associate Degree; Baccalaureate preferred


  • Experience with Microsoft Office, IWU computer systems/willing to learn IWU computer systems, and third-party systems
