Job Title: Occupational Therapy Adjunct Faculty Instructor (Doctoral Program)

Summary of Position: Adjunct faculty members are experienced professionals with the responsibility of providing a quality learning experience for Indiana Wesleyan University students. The adjunct faculty member will be current within his or her discipline, and demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning with related professional experience. (All onsite adjuncts are also expected to teach online.)

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.


  • Preferred: Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy or a related health/medical field.


  • Minimum of three years of clinical work as a licensed occupational therapist
  • Professional Credentials/License: Licensed Occupational Therapist or eligible for licensure in Indiana

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the occupational therapy code of conduct
  • Demonstrated teaching abilities
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft products
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AOTA and NBCOT ethics policies/regulations
