Job Title: Vice President of Leadership Development and Ministry Partnerships

Summary of Position:    The Vice President of Leadership Development and Ministry Partnerships is responsible for building, activating, and supporting a nationwide network of RBI Ambassadors who will work with churches to implement a vibrant, sustainable Financial Wisdom Ministry. This role blends strategic partnership development, large-scale network building, volunteer leadership development, and program deployment—empowering churches, denominations, and ministry networks to engage their communities with biblically grounded financial wisdom. 

Leveraging deep experience in partnership cultivation, community-building, and volunteer mobilization, this leader will champion the growth of RBI’s Ambassador network to multiply Financial Wisdom Ministry across the U.S., ensuring Ambassadors have the relationships, resources, and support needed for successful implementation of Financial Wisdom Ministries. 


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and Lead the RBI Ambassador Network. Recruit, equip, and support a growing network of RBI Ambassadors who serve as frontline connectors to churches, ministry leaders, and partner organizations
  • Design and Implement Ambassador Training Systems. Build and manage scalable systems for Ambassador onboarding, training, and ongoing development, including webinars, workshops, and practical ministry toolkits
  • Cultivate a Mission-Driven Ambassador Community. Foster a strong community culture among Ambassadors through encouragement, collaboration, and the sharing of ministry impact stories that advance RBI’s mission
  • Support Ministry Implementation with Partner Churches and Organizations. Work closely with Ambassadors, church champions, and ministry partners to support the successful rollout of Financial Wisdom Ministry initiatives in churches, colleges, high schools, Christian organizations, and community settings
  • Provide Strategic Coaching for Financial Discipleship Ministries. Guide partner churches and leaders in integrating RBI curricula, training volunteers, and developing sustainable ministry rhythms that address key life stages and pastoral moments where financial discipleship is most impactful
  • Represent and Expand RBI’s Ministry Partnerships. Represent RBI at church events, denominational gatherings, and conferences, while preparing presentations, reports, and partnership materials that strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for growth and expansion

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in nonprofit leadership, business, communications, organizational leadership, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant professional experience will also be considered

Experience

  • Three to five (3–5) years of experience in nonprofit leadership, church or ministry environments, volunteer mobilization, or leadership development.Experience working with churches, ministry leaders, or faith-based organizations is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting, equipping, and leading volunteer teams, including coordinating large or geographically distributed networks. Experience managing programs or initiatives that involve multiple stakeholders, partner organizations, or ministry leaders
  • Experience facilitating training sessions, workshops, or leadership development programs. Experience representing an organization at conferences, ministry events, or partner gatherings is beneficial

Required Skills

  • Strong relational leadership and the ability to motivate and support volunteers and ministry leaders
  • Excellent communication skills including writing, relationship-building, facilitation, and public speaking
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track progress, and follow through on program goals
  • Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities for growth, and support effective program implementation across partner churches and organizations
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, mission-driven team environment
  • Commitment to biblical financial stewardship and alignment with the mission of Indiana Wesleyan University and the Ron Blue Institute
