Job Title: Charting the Future Grant Liaison (Part-time/Temporary)

Reporting Relationship: Director of Community Collaboration & Engagement

Unit: IWU-Marion

Department: Chapel Secretary-IWU Marion

Campus Location: Chapel Auditorium, Marion, IN

Summary of Position:    Responsible for a variety of administrative, logistical, and customer service tasks that support the daily functions of the CTF Grant in the area of Community Engagement. The ideal candidate will carry out job duties with an emphasis on attention to detail. This individual will be able to take direction from multiple staff members, prioritize dynamic workloads, provide excellent customer service, propose solutions, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively across the organization.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with community partners and campus partners 
  • Planning event details 
  • Creating reliable financial reports, records and reimbursements
  • Managing events and addressing potential problems that may arise
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events 

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.

Education

  • Some college required
  • Bachelors degree preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years prior experience in an administrative support role

Required Skills

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work without supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
