The Division of Behavioral Sciences at Indiana Wesleyan University seeks applications for a one-year Visiting Social Work Faculty position on the residential Marion, Indiana campus. The Division of Behavioral Sciences is home to five majors: social work, psychology, addictions counseling, criminal justice, and pre-art therapy, as well as a minor in sociology. We have 15 full-time faculty members and approximately 350 majors. The Bachelor of Social Work program has been accredited by the Council on Social Work Education for more than 25 years and the Master of Social Work program was added three years ago. The ideal candidate will combine teaching with scholarly endeavors. Applicants should show evidence of personal faith in Jesus Christ, full agreement with the Wesleyan-Arminian theology, and commitment to liberal arts learning and the integration of Christian faith and learning. Position to begin August 2023 pending funding.

The Director of College & Community Collaborations is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of a shared vision for enhancing economic and workforce development efforts in our community through the successful awarding of state, federal, and private grant funding. After the agreements are executed, this position manages the orientation and launch with the district and will be the primary field contact for the school districts and partner, with the support of IWU units. This work is done through collaboration with internal teams, engagement with external entities, and routine travel within the State of Texas and surrounding regions. Director of IT Services Administrative (Full Time) Marion, IN
The primary responsibilities for the Director of IT Services are to lead, motivate and manage staff in the support operations areas, including the Support Center, Desktop Configuration and Support, and Institutional Media Technologies (IMT). This includes designing services, establishing associated service level agreements and related metrics, as well as identifying and implementing improvements in service delivery processes. The responsibilities of the Support Operations team extend to working closely with all IT teams to refine troubleshooting processes and documentation of solutions, and ensuring escalated end-user issues are handled properly. There will be a total of four Cultivator Apprentices that will be supervised by an IWU Alliance Garden Cultivator Apprentice Supervisor and Dr. Noseworthy. The Cultivator Apprentice team will work together two-three days a week (20 hours total) between all of the community gardens and farmer’s markets (Alliance Garden, Thriving Grant County Thriving Mill Township and Mississinewa Community School gardens). Primary responsibilities include daily maintenance of the vegetable and perennial gardens and related farm tasks at the Alliance Garden, Thriving Grant County Thriving Mill Township and Mississinewa Community School gardens. The intern will harvest and help prepare Farm Boxes weekly for our farmer’s market. The intern will work interact with the community through workshop trainings and extension meetings. The Alliance Garden Intern must adhere to all safety regulations and IWU safety policy. The Intern must comply with any processes and procedures established by Indiana Wesleyan University administration.
