The Regional Assistant plays a vital role in the operation and success of Indiana Wesleyan University’s Education Center. Each center strives to partner with the community to meet its educational needs. Providing professional meeting space allows IWU to build these partnerships while serving the local community. This role is well suited for someone who is energetic and relational, has a passion to serve, organizationally gifted, motivated by contributing to a team, and enjoys finding solutions. In addition, skills related to customer service, communication, self-motivation, and attention to detail will help make the Regional Assistant successful. The Regional Assistant provides administrative and operational support to regional center leaders and may be involved in assisting with daily functions of more than one regional center.

Under the general supervision of the Director of Advancement Services, the Advancement Services Gift and Data Coordinator is responsible for managing the timely processing and stewardship of gifts and pledges. This position maintains all donor and alumni records. This position is vital within University Advancement as it is responsible for the recording of all gifts and pledges using a variety of applications and processes as well as maintaining the integrity of university data. The Advancement Services Gift and Data Coordinator will provide support for Advancement Operations staff and acts as a liaison to donors with questions related to their giving records. The Upward Bound Program is an early intervention pre-college preparatory program for high school students funded by the US Department of Education and is sponsored by Indiana Wesleyan University. Upward Bound Summer Resident Assistant Administrative, Full-Time Marion, IN
Upward Bound (UB) is a federally funded TRIO Program that provides fundamental support to Grant County students in grades 9-12, in their preparation for college entrance. Through various supportive initiatives, such as academic tutoring, academic advising, educational/cultural field trips and much more, Upward Bound identifies, motivates, and prepares eligible historically minoritized and potential first-generation college students to complete high school, enroll in, and ultimately achieve success in higher education pursuits. Summer Resident Assistants (RAs) are responsible for ensuring the wellness and overall positive experience of IWU’s UB participants. RAs reside in the residence hall and provide supervision and academic oversight to UB students participating in a six-week residential summer program that simulates a college experience. RAs act as first-responders when it comes to collaborating and interfacing with the students, spending the majority of their time working with them in an interpersonal capacity.

Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University invites applications for a full-time faculty appointment in Christian Ministry to begin July 1, 2023. Qualified applicants should have academic and professional expertise in Practical theology, Bible, Pastoral Care, Leadership or Christian Ministry related fields and demonstrate a commitment to theological education, theological scholarship, and the formation of pastoral ministry leaders in a variety of settings. In addition, skills related to supervising personnel, customer service, sales, building management, team building, project management, and negotiation will help make the Regional Sites Manager successful. He/she assumes primary responsibility for property management of the building and staffing for daily campus operations. Supervises regional operational staff. Serves as the conference services manager for Cincinnati, Dayton, and Florence. Assists the Director with projects as needed. This salaried position will have a regular, predictable work schedule determined in collaboration with the Director of Education (Indiana). Hours may vary according to scheduled special events and or the need for staff coverage. Some travel will be required and communicated in advance.
