Job Title: Graduate Assistant for Strength & Conditioning (Part-time)
Reporting Relationship: Head Strength & Conditioning Coach

Campus Location: Recreation & Wellness Center, Marion, IN
Summary of Position: Assist in all aspects of the Strength and Conditioning Program, under the general supervision of the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, and in accordance with NAIA, Crossroads League, and University regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design and implementation of sport specific strength and conditioning programs for assigned sport teams
Collaboration with athletic training staff and sport coaches
Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the weight room facilities
Provide Christ-centered culture and leadership
Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or a related field
Current enrollment in an IWU graduate program
CSCS or SCCC certification
Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
Experience
Previous strength and conditioning experience
Required Skills
Flexibility and commitment to work a dynamic and often demanding schedule, including nights and weekends
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues independently
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated strong work ethic, character, integrity, and professionalism
Positive attitude and a proactive approach to challenges
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
