Indiana Wesleyan University seeks applications for a Mechanical Engineering faculty on the Marion, Indiana campus. This full-time visiting faculty position will join the growing Engineering department educating students pursuing a BSE (Bachelor of Science in Engineering) degree with a specialization in mechanical, computer, civil, design, or electrical engineering. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching undergraduate engineering majors such as fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, design of thermal systems, and engineering materials. The Division of Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Sciences offers studies in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Mathematics Education, and Statistics and serves approximately 120 students in these academic areas. The successful candidate will combine teaching with scholarly endeavors. Applicants should show evidence of personal faith in Jesus Christ, comfort with the Wesleyan-Arminian theology, and commitment to liberal arts learning and the integration of Christian faith and learning. Starting Fall 2025 pending funding.
