The Graduate Assistantship in South Hall is a 10 month, part-time, live-in position (15hrs per week during the academic year, with a full-time training period in August) that reports directly to a full-time Resident Director. The GA partners to provide administrative leadership, community support, and engagement opportunities for students within a male residential area. This position complements a graduate student’s academic experience as an opportunity to apply theory and research practices learned in the classroom to daily student interactions that include advising, counseling, conflict mediation and to professional practices ranging from programming to assessment processes. Graduate Assistants work collaboratively as vital members of the Residence Life team, serving on departmental committees and participating in ongoing professional development.
Psychology Faculty, Part-time Faculty (Part Time or Adjunct) Marion, IN
Indiana Wesleyan University invites applications for a part-time Psychology faculty position within the Division of Behavioral Sciences on our residential campus in Marion, Indiana. This position is designed for a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) seeking to contribute to undergraduate education and program development within a collaborative and mission-driven Christian higher education context. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for preparing students for professional roles supporting children and families, along with significant experience in healthcare or medical settings. The ideal candidate will combine teaching with scholarly endeavors.
