The Student Life Assistant is responsible to support the student life coordination for the Air Force JROTC Flight Academic initiative. The position will support the Student Life Director with the supervision, transportation, and logistical support for Air Force JROTC cadets – mostly rising high school seniors and newly graduated high school students – who will reside on the Marion, IN campus and complete flight training at the Marion Municipal Airport starting on Saturday, May 31st.
The individual must be available part-time (up to 29 hours per week) throughout the duration of the Flight Academy (May 28 - July 26, 2025). Additionally, the individual must be available for training (2-3 hours maximum) prior to the Flight Academy. It is expected that flight training and residential activities will operate six (6) days per week with Sundays and major holidays off. The Student Life Assistant position will load balance the schedule with the Student Life Director. The individual may not be enrolled in summer classes or have other employment that would impede their ability to work Monday to Saturday.
