Job Title: Graduate Assistant - Business Analyst (Part-time/Temporary)

Reporting Relationship: Director of Admissions

Unit: Wesley Seminary

Summary of Position:    The Business Analyst Graduate Assistant will support the admissions department by gathering and analyzing data related to student recruitment, enrollment, and admissions processes. The Business Analyst will provide data-driven insights that inform admissions strategies, monitor enrollment trends, and track key performance indicators. This role is essential for helping the Director of Admissions and leadership make informed decisions to optimize admissions outcomes.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze admissions data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in recruitment strategies and enrollment processes
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide insights into key admissions performance metrics, such as lead conversion rates, enrollment trends, and funnel performance
  • Assist the Director of Admissions in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing actionable insights to inform decision-making
  • Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analytics
  • Support the forecasting of enrollment trends by analyzing historical data and identifying leading indicators

Education

  • Enrolled in DeVoe’s MBA program with an interest in business analysis, data analytics, or related fields

Experience & Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ability to present complex data in a clear, understandable format.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
