Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Reporting Relationship: Division Chair, Behavioral & Health Sciences

Unit: National & Global

Department: School of Integrated Health

Location: Ott Hall of Sciences & Nursing

Summary of Position:    This multifaceted role involves coordinating meetings, setting agenda items, and taking minutes, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will prepare and organize documents and reports, contributing to the seamless execution of various departmental functions.

As an essential member of the team, they will assist in planning and organizing virtual events, meetings, and conferences.

The position requires a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, as well as actively participating in collecting and organizing data for reports and presentations. Acting as a liaison between departments within the Behavioral and Health Sciences, the incumbent will collaborate with staff and faculty to ensure successful outcomes and promote a cohesive working environment.

The ideal candidate will bring a proactive and collaborative approach, effectively balancing diverse responsibilities while contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the Behavioral and Health Sciences department.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate meetings, set agenda items, and take minutes 
  • Prepare and organize documents and reports 
  • Assist in planning and organizing virtual events, meetings, and conferences 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Assist in collecting and organizing data for reports and presentations 
  • Act as a liaison between various departments within the Behavioral and Health Sciences 
  • Collaborate with other staff and faculty to ensure successful outcomes 
  • Facilitating the process of welcoming students into program specific honor societies
  • Reconcile corporate credit cards for the Division Chair and Program Directors
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

  • College experience required
  • Associate’s degree preferred

Experience

  • Two to four (2-4) years of experience in office management
