Job Title: Associate Director, Enrollment Communication

Summary of Position:    The Associate Director of Enrollment Communication will lead the development of enrollment communication through Salesforce Marketing Cloud, utilizing industry-leading engagement strategies. The central function is to support mid-funnel lead nurturing, which aligns with recruitment operations. The position will provide strategic direction and development services for enrollment communication in support of operational and academic units of National & Global.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Team & Culture
    • Aligns with the high-performance team and culture that models the posture and values of N&G
    • Advances a culture of mutual accountability that ensures the optimal performance of the Marketing Cloud platform
    • Encourages innovative and creative thinking, planning, and execution
    • Serves as the liaison between IWU Marketing, UIT, and third-party communication application providers
  • Technology Leadership
    • Collaborates with the marketing technology, communication teams, and internal stakeholders to adapt and support student lifecycle communication, with an eye toward optimizing student experience through relevance and personalization
    • Leads the team and strategy for enrollment communication, with specific attention to Marketing Cloud and Mailchimp, and interfaces with Salesforce CRM and Mogli SMS texting for cross-platform campaign development and implementation
    • Manages the implementation, testing, and optimizing of email and mobile communication campaigns, marketing lists, journeys, and workflows with Marketing Cloud and Mogli (or other communication platforms)
  • Data & Reporting
    • Collaborates with the enrollment technology team and leadership to identify key performance indicators and metrics for email marketing initiatives
    • Ensures the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and other analytical tools within the Marketing Cloud platform

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum. Master’s degree preferred
  • Education is preferred in business, marketing, digital marketing automation, and analytics software

Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of digital marketing automation experience. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of email marketing management experience with responsibility for planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining the overall email marketing strategy
