Job Title: Associate Director of Enrollment

Reporting Relationship: Senior Executive Director of Enrollment

Unit: National & Global

Department: Adult Enrollment Services

Campus Location: Online/Remote

Summary of Position:    The Associate Director of Enrollment is responsible for promoting student enrollment and awareness of degree programs for Adult Enrollment Services (AES) by serving as a voice and presence for the recruitment team and by working closely with senior leadership in Enrollment Management and senior leadership AES to achieve program enrollment goals and objectives.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of enrollment counselors to engage in best practices and enroll students in IWU’s National and Global degree programs 
  • Based on enrollment funnel KPIs and call recordings, coach enrollment counselors on how to have meaningful conversations with prospective students and applicants and sell IWU’s degree programs effectively 
  • Make data driven enrollment decisions 
  • Manage weekly new student projections for each enrollment counselor and provide such forecasting to senior enrollment leaders
  • Monitor enrollment counselor quality of communication and timeliness 
  • Represent IWU and AES programs during events, as needed 
  • Assist in the development of marketing material content, as needed 
  • Contribute to the overall success and culture of Adult Enrollment Services by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned 
  • Occasional travel between Education Centers is required. On-call when not available in the office. 

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

  • Three (3) years of admissions/recruitment experience in higher education.
  • Outstanding communication, relational and presentation skills
  • Proven leader with planning and organizational skills

Required Skills

  • Must have a good understanding of technology used within the office setting – computer, printer, fax, etc. as well as, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
  • Must be willing to embrace new ideas and utilize new technology as the department grows
  • Must be able to set goals, then direct and mentor program reps in such a way they can obtain those goals
  • Must be able to articulate processes and procedures effectively
  • Must work well with other departments within the National & Global community
