Job Title: Facilities Services Temp Summer & Academic Year (Full-time)

Reporting Relationship: Director of Facilities Services

Unit: IWU-Marion

Department: Facilities Management-IWU Marion

Campus Location: Maintenance Building

Summary of Position:    The Facilities Services Temp position would serve the campus community in the capacity determined by the Director of Facilities Services. Responsibilities could include: General Maintenance, General Housekeeping, General Grounds Care, and/or Assist where needed within the Facilities Services department.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve the campus community in the capacity determined by the Director. Responsibilities could include: 
    • General Maintenance 
    • General Housekeeping 
    • General Grounds Care 
    • Assist where needed within Facilities Services 
  • Adhere to any safety regulations and standards spelled out in the IWU safety policy 
  • Comply with any processes and procedures established by Facilities Management and or Indiana Wesleyan University administration 
  • May be required to work overtime as directed by supervision

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.


  • High School Diploma


  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as a team member on detailed day-to-day tasks
  • Team player

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Excellent decision-making skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license
