Job Title: Corporate Billing Representative

Reporting Relationship: Billing Supervisor

Unit: National & Global

Department: Student Accounting Services

Campus Location: NGM Building

Summary of Position:    The purpose of this position is to maintain relationships with students and employers to facilitate employer payments on behalf of students.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive and maintain files of vouchers and letters of credit received from students 
  • Invoice companies and government agencies according to vouchers and letters of credit on a timely basis 
  • Track invoices and balances to ensure receipt of payment 
  • Provide timely customer service to students and university departments via phone, email, or in-person
  • Assist with the large batch financial aid refund process 
  • Serve as back-up for all core program Corporate Billing Representatives 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Executive Director 

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.


  • Associates degree required or work equivalent


  • Bookkeeping experience desired

  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail and numbers

  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills relating effectively with staff, students, and other departments
  • Computer skills, primarily with Excel and web based programs
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
