Job Title: Corporate Representative

Reporting Relationship: Associate Director of Corporate Representative or Executive Director of Corporate Relations

Unit: National & Global

Department: AES Adult Enrollment Services

Campus Location: Lexington Education Center / Remote work within Central Kentucky area

Summary of Position:    The Corporate Representative’s (CR) role in the Adult Enrollment Services (AES) department is to serve as its outside recruiter of working adults into 100+ degree programs. As IWU’s representative the CR works with influencers within organizations to inform their associates of all IWU degree programs and professional development offerings.

Office space provided in Lexington, KY or work can be completed remotely within the central Kentucky area.. 50-75% travel required. Occasional evening and weekend travel, events, and overnight required.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify organizations that will produce an ongoing stream of leads 
  • Develop relationships with organizations’ influencers and decision makers (gatekeepers, managers, and executive leadership) and establish IWU as a major provider education programs to their associates 
  • Develop a custom recruitment strategy that will effectively communicate to an organization’s associates what IWU provides, and carry out all recruitment activities by working with each organization’s influencers and decision makers 
  • Plan and conduct on-site and virtual presentations and information meetings
  • Register for, attend, and maintain exhibit space at education, benefit, career, transfer, et.al. fairs and conferences 
  • Build a strong relationship with AES’s Program Representatives (PR) and CRs to maximize marketing efforts 
  • Collect prospective student contact information and details so PRs may facilitate their enrollment 
  • Maintain updated records on recruitment activities, and maintain account activity through CRM 
  • Carry out other tasks as assigned 

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in sales, marketing, college recruitment, and/or public relations

  • Excellent driving record
  • Working experience in word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, internet, etc.
