Job Title: PMHNP Site Visitor (Available in IN, MI, IL, OH, KY)

Reporting Relationship: Associate Dean, Nurse Practitioner Program, Division of Masters Nursing

Summary of Position:    The PMHNP Site Visitor will provide support to the Division of Masters Nursing Psych Mental Health Nurse Family Practitioner Program related to students and preceptors within the clinical setting.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete faculty site visits to FNP students as assigned. Site visitors always have the option to accept or deny a request to make a site visit. - (Essential)
  • Directly observe students within the clinical setting. - (Essential)
  • Confer with the preceptor regarding students' progress. - (Essential)
  • Evaluate students' progress within the clinical setting. - (Essential)
  • Assess the appropriateness of preceptor and clinical setting. - (Essential)
  • Complete a Faculty Evaluation form for the student. - (Essential)
  • Complete a Faculty Evaluation of the Preceptor and Clinical Site form. - (Essential)
  • Submit all evaluations to the course facilitator and School of Nursing. - (Essential)

• Master of Science in Nursing
• Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
