The Coordinator of Recruitment’s primary goal is to increase enrollment in an assigned geographic territory for IWU Marion. This is accomplished by engaging high school students and through establishing relationships with influencers that can be leveraged for recruitment and creating opportunities to engage students in events on campus as well as off campus. The secondary goal is to assist with the growth of Wesleyan student by cultivating relationships with pastors that lead to engagement opportunities on campus and off campus.

The admissions counselor position promotes the University and its programs to prospective students and their communities. The admissions counselor manages a caseload of students to identify, recruit, admit and matriculate successfully into the University, its programs and community. The goal is accomplished through building relationships with the student and their family, sharing opportunities available to the student at IWU and encouraging them on their next steps. Engagement varies by season but includes travel, hospitality during campus visits and extensive communication with families (including phone calls).
Vice President Learner Success and Retention

The Vice President for Learner Success and Retention will oversee the offices of learner success (advising), workforce engagement (career services and career mobile lab), student engagement (military, spiritual life, student success & engagement), and the administration of the SIP retention-focused grant (data & interventions) for IWU National and Global. The Vice President establishes a climate reflective of the values and practices of Indiana Wesleyan University and develops a high-functioning team approach to collaboratively and innovatively improve the retention and employability of N&G students. Building and maintaining a strong student-oriented culture within National and Global will be central to this position’s work. The VPLS&R will develop and utilize a robust data strategy and infuse Ai and other technological advances to create a model retention program for online students. The VPLS will create a division that thinks creatively and executes with precision and speed for the purpose of creating a climate of belonging and care for all students.
As a member of the Chancellor’s Leadership Council, the VP for Learner Succes and Retention stays abreast of the latest trends facing higher education, online learner retention, and workforce development that directly impact N&G, manages the financial affairs of their assigned offices, and contributes to the strategic planning and execution efforts of the unit. Moreover, the VP will advance National and Global mission by increasing the reach and impact of IWU through developing leading retention programs.

the Dean of Nursing position will provide leadership and direction for all academic offerings in the National & Global Division of Nursing, which is housed in the College of Adult and Professional Studies. As the academic leader, the Dean is tasked to proactively continue to build strong, innovative Christian nursing programs that combines engagement with nursing communities, innovation in learning opportunities, and practice that is rooted in highest professional standards and biblical principles. This innovative and growth-mindset leader will build the school’s enrollment, provide oversight of the development and maintenance of curricula, develop systems and structures to support the programs, courses and academic offerings, advance meaningful partnerships, and supervise associate deans, faculty and staff of the division.
The Dean of Nursing will cast a compelling vision for the Division of Nursing. The Dean of Nursing will give direction to the Division of Nursing’s leadership team while coordinating divisional activities with leaders from other University academic and operational units to achieve the University’s mission. Additionally, the Dean will forge relationships with health care organizations and build strong enrollment pipelines. The Dean of Nursing will also ensure programs are conducted in accordance with the mission and academic
policies of the University and accrediting bodies.
